I stuggle

I prefer a bit of darkness in my life. Things with substance. I drink black coffee. I like rich red wines. Give me cheesecakes and flour-less dark chocolate tortes. I like music with deep rhythmic rumblings and high haunting voices. I love contrast. I want to see the unexpected. I want to be unique.

Lots of wine w/ super awesome dinner.
Spanokopita appetizer, Pasta w/ fresh peppers and tomatoes from garden, Garlic bread and Pie w/ fresh apples from front yard and blackberries from back yard (and some evil, non-organic blueberries I found in the freezer... and lots of cream cheese and butter).

De-lish and made complete with viewing of Gross Pointe Blank on VHS cause our PS3 is visiting family right now. (they just got a nice new gigantic flat screen TV and we wanted to show them the superiority of blue ray via Coraline and Directors Cut Watchmen.)

Also... I think maybe I just got into an art show....
That would be very cool and exciting.

On Returning...

So I figured this would be a good follow up to that last blog of hope I blogged over six months ago. (i'm still hopeful BTW)

Lemme splain...
Elex and I saw this taped (yes taped! with clear packing tape! to a concrete piller! who does that?!) to the underpass near the Safeway.
Well, obviously we had to go back for it.
One: To take it down and Two: To have it for ourselves.

It's just so... so....
Well, people will believe anything, won't they?

Concerning Blogging

I dunno why I stopped. I have lots of stories to tell and many many many photos to share that I feel uncomfortable uploading to Facebook and other such places.

I think that somewhere I read or heard that blogging was dead. It was said in such a disdainful manner that it kinda got to me. It's stupid I know. I never stopped reading all of the blogs I love. I just stopped writing.
I'm probably just really really lazy. Even though my stories are silly and may seem somewhat off handed I really do put a lot of effort into them.

Also, it will also help immensely that we finally broke down and GOT SATELLITE INTERNET!!!!

Oh my goodness. All I need now is one of those big exercise balls with the sand in it to sit on. I'll be strengthening my core and improving my posture all while I write!

I'll share some more soon. When I get that ball. Or some other excuse. I've quite the backlog.
