a new generation of dorky-ness

here i am listening to my old favorites by They Might Be Giants. i should be doing a world of other things but it seems World of Warcraft has taken over my life. i've always been an RPG girl. mostly on playstation. Final Fantasy VII is the best game ever and Chocobos are sooooooo cute i could fucking die. but now.... now ....
Massive Online Multiplayer Gaming has taking over my life. I get to be a hot zombie chick and i can play with friends like it was Boulders Gate. i wish katie and otis were here but i'm also fondly reminded of the Bond days while playing with Joel. i can't wait to bring katie into this but i know at the moment that she is far too busy. but wait. just wait. hehehehehehe

Twisted Kitties Purr

we had to go into walmart yesterday. it is always awful but this trip was salvaged by my fulfilling a promise i made some time ago.
i gleefully drug elex bryan to the fish department and we waited in line while the adolescent fish clerk helped some other people. when it was our turn i delightedly pointed and said, "gimme three of those 10 cent gold fish. i figure i outa get three in case one of them dies on the way home."
elex informs the fish clerk that these fish, you see, are for our cat.
for her birthday, i add. a much much belated birthday. but i promised.
"now that we told you that, can you still sell them to us?" asked elex. as if PETA is monitoring the spy cams in the ceiling.
"are you gonna pay for them?" the fish clerk asks.
"wull ya." i respond.
"okay then, whatever." the fish clerk shrugs.
we happily took our fish home and put them in the bathroom sink for the cat to devour. i had to help her catch the first one, but the last two(they all suprisingly survived the drive home) she caught and ate all by herself. she did spit out a couple a pieces but i don't know what they were. i just know they were kinda gold and shiny.
she kept meowing at the sink like there should be more. i tried to tell her that was it.
when we came home tonight she did the same thing. apparently it was the best thing ever.
good kitty.
happy birthday.
