A Door Shuts...
And another door opens.
Johnny Logic called one weeknight to tell elex to fax his resume over. They were gonna start hiring soon.
The next day they called him to set up an interview for Friday.
Friday night Johnny Logic called me to say he couldn't divulge too much information but that he thought the interview had gone really well.
Monday he had the job and needed to go down to fill out some paperwork and piss in a cup.
Thursday he started working. Thursday they started paying into his retirement. Full benefits and the like. A real job. The kind I've been talking about.
See! You don't have to go to school to get a good job, you just have to be smart and know the right people!
I'm so happy and proud. He sooo deserves this. And the timing was perfect as the magazine is set to publish and there would have been no more work there until next season.
And then! My bosses asked if I wanted to trade the last $600 of my debt to them for dresses. (i make their "historical" dresses required by the state park) HELL YES!
and so I quit! Now I can do something that doesn't bore me to tears and make me drink.
Could be anything... I do get bored. And I do like to drink. hmmmmm possibilities.

And I'm excited because now I have someone to hang out with at company parties!! HOORAAAYY!!!!
(btw- the company picnic can be fun, but the "end-of-the-year" party rocks.)
