Repairs...
Cinderella couldn't wear these shoes to the ball.
So I have repaired them.
Now he can wear his kilt and I won't have to cry anymore... don't ask.
Here is half way through the process...
The back all stitched up...
My hands all black...
Finished
Hooray! So pretty!
So I essentially washed these boots, sewed up the back, hot glued the soles back on, polished the fuck out of them and burned off all the loose threads.
I am awesome.

Niiiice! If the hot glue quits doing its job, Shoe Goo or Household Goop works wonders.

I am well acquainted with Shoe Goo. I used the hot glue because it was eleven-o-clock at night, I had had two glasses of wine and it was there. It was never meant to be more than a temporary fix.
hehehe crafting and wine. hehehe
I've recently picked up the hot glue gun again, too. Can't say I don't love the instant gratification and immediacy of it, but yeah, gotta watch out for shit not lasting forever.
Crafts and wine: a biweekly necessity.
