Self Portraits

I recently inherited all of my Grandmothers art supplies as well as and interesting collection of her costume jewelry.



All of these pearls belonged to her.
I sewed a necklace to a bit of elastic and it became a headband. I love it.
Also the earrings are awesome.
And I cut my hair myself because I haven't been able to afford to go to the awesome Tatum who cut all my dreads off.
I still owe her a before and after photo and a dread.



That's an antique button attached to a bobby pin with some glitter glue on a poinsettia flower Brandi and I cannibalized from a christmas wreath.



Soon I plan on recreating a self portrait in watercolor. (None of the above)

I do at least one serious self portrait every year. Sometimes more than one. Its just something I've always done.

Call me self-obsessed. *shrug* Who am i to disagree?
